- A Bloomsbury Life is one of my favorite design/art/pop-culture blogs, and I always feel I've gained some knowledge after reading Lisa's artfully-put words. I think every book-lover will identify with her post on this necklace, and while you there why don't you check out her witty, thought provoking embroidery, now showing in ACME?
- Still speaking of books: This review on "Frankly, My Dear" - a feminist criticism on "Gone With the Wind" - from the New York Times had me re-read it several times since it was published in February. It's high time I read the book itself. What do you think?
- Jezebel re-published this post on mothers and their right to a sense of self from Morning Quickie in honor of Mother's Day. I couldn't agree more. I think it's so important for mothers to have their own lives as women, not wives, sisters, mothers etc. I feel it seems too obvious to write about it, and yet it's so common for women to lose their sense of self to their other roles.
- And on a lighter note, I adore Rifka's creations on BurdaStyle. This dress is too cute!
