Winter is my favorite season, and holiday season is my favorite season-within-season. So with Hanukkah only a couple weeks away (this year it's between December 1-9) and Christmas just a few weeks later, I figured this is actually the perfect time to start planning your gifts!
I reached out to a handful of designers and boutique owners, all online, all indie, sustainable and ship internationally (which is important for someone like me, who doesn't live in the states). I hand picked each and every one of them through social media or the blogosphere, because I believe that in this day and age conversation and communication are a must. Each day (starting tomorrow and for the duration of this week), one of them will present you with their picks for host/ess gifts and will reveal which gift they'd wish to receive from another indie designer, and I will share what I call "Belly's Button Pick" from their sites.
Aside from that, posting will continue as normal, so if gifts aren't your thing (WHY?) you won't feel bored. I hope you will enjoy this week as I already do!
