Recently I've gotten to know more and more work of Israeli designers and decorators, and I must say I'm impressed. When Ally of From The Right Bank asked me to guest post while she's away, I was honored. And I was happy to highlight TaGa, one of my recently discovered Israeli design firms while I go slightly goth... Mwaahhh:)

You may notice that I introduced my blog as Belly's- Interiors with a Story. Yes, Belly's is going through a redesign soon, and I'm going to focus more on the story behind designs. I promise to tell you more about it soon, but meanwhile why don't you hop over to FTRB and check out my post?

So that's all for now, I'm off for an afternoon of birthday celebrations (my little sister is 13! when did that happen?!)

It's not everyday that my day job and blogging (which both I adore, but which couldn't be any more different) meet... So I was delighted to write about one of the books I read for work over at the Indie Fixx Book Club. Today I'm featured on Design Refuge's "around the world" series. It was fun getting to put into words what this blog is all about, and I hope you enjoy it as well.

To those not familiar with Design Refuge, it is a meeting place for design bloggers worldwide. Dagny of Scandinavian Chic is the founder, and she does a great job gathering contributors on an array of subjects that ranges from art to entertaining. There also fun contests with fabulous prizes to boot.

• Will, or as I like to call him Mr. B, wrote a touching, heartwarming story about his passion for decorating as part of Hello Splendor's Blog Crawl. Check out the other stories as well.
• What happens when two mega-bloggers with great style decide to collaborate? Amazing design is born. What I like about the rooms Jenny designed for Joanna is that they are so beautiful, yet have this down to earth quality about them.(Living room: 1, 2, 3. Nursery: 1.)

• I've been experimenting with my new camera and with the advice we got from Leslie at the BYW course. Here's what's in the picture above:

1. An Etrog for Sukkot, from my family's business.
2. A tiny portrait print on canvas, Tushtush.
3. Watercolor by my son, Domino back issue.
4. Roald Dahl book (yellow, in Hebrew) and a '50s edition of Little Women.
5. Premier Prints fabric samples.
