Hi Guys, ready for my first podcast ever? I'm warning you in advance: it's not really polished (because that's how I roll) and the subject isn't really sexy. In short, I'm talking about how product-centric blogging has made me "want" much more than I really do and how that made me go off blogging for a while.

Stuff I forgot to mention because I was so excited talking to you:- I got my first decorating job, yippee! (more on that later)
- I got to interview a really BIG international designer and surprisingly, he said really similar things about design and money, and about investing in a few key quality pieces that will last for generations and will probably cost a little fortune, but not going gaga all over the place. I'll post the entire interview once the magazine is out in March. Promise.
- I'm getting to meet so many interesting people for my writing assignments and I'm learning a lot about decor, design and the human nature (as corny as that sounds). I can't wait to share it all with you.
- I missed you guys!
p.s. the photos in this post are from the blog's Facebook page. Join the fun!

Is that carpet on the living room woven? I’ve seen a seaweed woven carpet in Indianapolis and it was great and non-toxic by the way. Well, anyway if it is, how do you make the cleaning? Isn’t hard to clean that because it’s too fragile?

Hi Shirlene,
The living room in the picture isn't mine. It's from Palmer Weiss's home as featured in Lonny Magazine.
